The BSE Sensex close above 51,000 mark for the first time on Monday with a all time high of 51,523.38. Strong global cues supported the domestic rally especially Auto,IT and metal stocks. Since the government's announcement of its capex plans in the Union Budget, benchmark indices have climbed nearly 11 per cent, driven primarily by foreign investors.
